Sports, music, technology and so much more! Burr and Burton Academy is offering summer camps from early July to early August. Choose from more than a dozen different camps, including six new camps!
Burr and Burton Coach Jamie Briggs is directing this summer’s Basketball Camp for boys and girls entering grades 1 through 4. This camp will run the week of July 6 from 8:30 am – noon in the BBA gymnasium.
The Football Camp, directed by Burr and Burton's Matt Kujovsky, will be held the week of July 6 from 8:30 am until noon for players entering grades 5 through 8. Gary Grabarz will run the Baseball Camp the same week from 12:30 pm until 4 pm for players entering grades 1 through 6. Coach Grabarz will also direct a second baseball camp the week of July 13 from 8:30 am – noon.
Burr and Burton Dance Team Coach Barb Miceli is holding her Dance Camp the week of July 13 in the BBA gymnasium. This camp will run from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and is open to boys and girls entering grades 5 through 9.
One-week sessions of boys and girls lacrosse will be held the week of July 13. The boys’ camp, coached by Kevin Morrison, is for players entering grades 4-8 and runs from 8:30 am to noon. The girls’ camp, directed by Burr and Burton Coach Dave Miceli, is open to players entering grades 2 through 9.
Burr and Burton Performing Arts teacher Julie Freebern is holding a new Music Camp the week of July 13 in the Riley Center at BBA. This camp will run from 8:30 - noon and is open to boys and girls entering grades 2 through 4.
The Softball Camp, headed by Burr and Burton's own Kathi Bierwirth along with MEMS's Gary Grabarz, will be held the week of July 20. The camp will run from 8:30 am - noon and is open to boys and girls entering grades 4 through 8.
Techsploration and Gamers Camp, two new additions to this summer's line up, headed by Burr and Burton's Kevin Morrison and MEMS's Gary Grabarz, will be held the week of July 20. Techsploration will run from 8:30 am - noon and is open to boys and girls entering grades 4 through 8, while Gamers will run from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm and is open to boys and girls entering grades 6 through 12.
Soccer Camps, directed by BBA alum Brooke Page Rosenbauer, will run both during the day from 8:30 am – noon and in the evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm the week of August 3. The day camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 5 - 8, while the evening camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 9 - 12.
Burr and Burton tennis coach Pete McNealus is holding his Tennis Camp the week of August 3 at Manchester Parks & Recreation. This camp will run from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm and is open to boys and girls entering grades 4 through 9.
