Spanish teacher Katherine Bove has been chosen to receive the 2009 Vermont Language Teacher Fellowship from the Middlebury College Language Schools for study in summer 2009. The fellowship, which is open to all Vermont high-school language teachers, covers tuition, room, and board for the six-week intensive, immersion course in Spanish. A candidate for a master’s degree from Middlebury, Bove said she “thrilled and honored” to be chosen from a competitive field of candidates. She has spent the last two summers at Middlebury and plans to receive her master’s degree in 2011.
